What we do ?
1. We contribute to develop knowledge on natural heritage, especially Vietnamese bamboos, and their nowadays or potential use.
2. We determine how bamboo adapt itself to new living conditions, how to cut and replant it, to transplant and to fertilize it.
3. We improve conservation and soils fertilization techniques and agricultural production.
What we aim at
Producing :
- fundamental or applied information about bamboo and soil/plant relations
- bamboo and other plants plantlets
- organic fertilizers
from the Vietnam bamboo collection and researches done in the Botanic Gardens. The place offers an opportunity to study bamboo in a particularly unique atmosphere. Thanks to our educational program and environmental protection, researchers, teachers and students can take advantage of much information.
National and international cooperation will facilitate knowledge transfer between scientists and towards people.
